I'm moving overseas. Should I sell or rent the place out?

This is such a personal question and one that we rather not influence. However, what I always do is point out a couple of things:
1) Can you see yourself living back in this property?
2) How emotionally attached to the property are you? Do you really want to give it up?
3) If you are moving overseas - will you be able to afford to buy back into the area when you return?
4) Have you considered keeping the property then leveraging off the equity and keep it for an investment.
Four simple questions but not so easily answered. We've found that most clients decide to hold onto their property which to us makes good sense.
