At Stable - property matters we are residential property management experts. Today's rental market is becoming increasingly competitive. Not only for prospective occupants but for owners too. When I meet with new clients the common theme is "how do I make sure that my property stands out so that its vacancy rate is reduced?" and from renters the overall theme is about cleanliness, presentation and of course heating. So there's the answer. Making sure your property appeals to its target market. Which are. Great renters.  

You don't need to have the most modern or exclusive property in the neighbourhood to ensure it rents well and at a good return. You just need to ensure it appeals. This is easily answered by asking yourself the question: "Could I live here?" If the answer is a firm 'no' then how can you expect someone else to. Simple. 

At Stable we follow very practical principle's that speak to our market: we never take on a property we wouldn't live in ourselves, we always make sure its rent ready before the lease start date, any maintenance thats required is completed, is there heating - if not - will our client consider providing a heating solution and how can we make the exterior more presentable. Of course, its that constant negotiating of the small spend that will help increase return - therefore earnings and attract great renters. Brilliant.
